A true North Dakota event has sparked books and now a film “End of the Rope.” Film producer Daniel Bielinski and co-authors of the book Lynched: Mob Murders on the Northern Great Plains, 1882-1931, Doreen Chaky and Adrienne Stepanek join together for an insightful discussion about some of North Dakota’s most gruesome history.

Adrienne Stepanek has completed many research projects as a Certified Genealogical Record Searcher in North and South Dakota and was employed by the City of Williston, ND to assist in the reconstruction of the more than 100-year-old Riverview Cemetery Records. Adrienne is currently working with the local Military Affairs Committee on a publication recognizing the 25 Civil War Veterans interred in Williston, ND.

Film producer:

Daniel Bielinski Daniel has an M.F.A. in Acting from Columbia University. He moved to North Dakota in 2015 and began working as a writer and producer. He lives with his wife and five children in Bismarck, where he currently serves as Chair of Dramatic Arts at the University of Mary.
