Raman Sachdev

Dr. Raman Sachdev is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Minot State University, where he has been teaching since fall 2022. At MSU, he offers courses in Critical Thinking, Ethics, Philosophy of Religion, and Modern Philosophy, among others.

Dr. Sachdev's areas of expertise include the history of philosophy, skepticism, and early modern thought. He also has strong interests in Asian philosophy, comparative philosophy, and the philosophy of music. His work has been published in both academic journals and popular online outlets.

Before joining MSU, Dr. Sachdev was a Visiting Instructor of Philosophy at the University of South Florida, where he also taught for the Judy Genshaft Honors College. There, he developed courses such as Studies in Buddhism and Stoicism; Mental Illness, Suicide, and Moral Responsibility; and Music and the Emotions/Music and the Screen.
