The student will find Borges inspiring and Borges’ genius will spark new forms of creativity and insight in all who read, write, and engage in this thoughtful dialogue.

Please note: This class will be held live on Zoom during the dates and time listed above. If you can’t attend a session or if the time doesn’t work for you, a password-protected course page will host video recordings for registered participants to watch at their convenience.

Instructor bio: Ari King is a visual artist-philosopher-teacher from Detroit, Michigan who is passionate about the faculty of ambivalence. Rather than classifying wishy-washyness as an incapacity to choose, he sees ambivalence as a rich vein of future experience and as a space for the recognition of dual possibility in oneself, the other, and the world. He graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Philosophy.
